To host the Hbc Run for Canada, we need the help of many volunteers. Being a volunteer is a great way to lend support to your community and help fellow Canadians get the most out of this event

We need volunteers to help in many ways. Before the event starts, helping with last minute registrations and pack handouts, helping with course setup, checking bags, handing out water to participants, and so on. During the event there will also be opportunities to be help with supporting our participants by handing out water at water stations, and helping to cheer on runners and walkers.

At the end of the race and the walk, we need motivating people to greet and congratulate runners, to provide power drinks and to hand out the 10K finisher commemorative medals. Volunteers will also help by directing participants to post-event features and activities (like the pancake breakfast or the Super Canadian contest!!) and even participate in handing out contest prizing!!

All volunteers will receive a free performance wear event t-shirt to be worn on event day. As a volunteer, you are key to making the day a success and we know that you will enjoy the day and being a part of building something special.

To volunteer for the Hbc Run For Canada event, please complete the on-line volunteer registration . Upon confirmation you will receive an email to thank you for your application. Please note that acceptance as a volunteer is not guaranteed. Once your application is approved you will get a second email confirming that you are a registered volunteer and that you will be participating in the event. You can then look for then an information email that will tell you where to go for training, to pick-up your uniform as well as when and where to check in and start your day. Thanks for your support!
