The Park's 7,630 square kilometres of forests, lakes, and rivers have taken on almost legendary proportions in the minds of people all over the world. It was Canada's first Provincial Park, and the beloved setting for many of the works by Tom Thomson and The Group of Seven.
Again this year, Mew Lake Campground will serve as the staging area for the Hbc Run for Canada, featuring the Start/Finish line, as well as the food tents, entertainment and more. Naturally, you couldn't ask for more beautiful surroundings for the events at the
Hbc Run for Canada, and the race is sure to provide all participants with memories of Ontario's beauty to last a lifetime.
Whether you live in the area or are heading to the Hbc Run for Canada from out of town, consider pitching a tent at Mew Lake Campground. Half of the 131 sites - partially nestled amidst a White Pine forest - feature electricity and other amenities. Mew Lake Campgrounds also features a beach, and a handicapped-accessible comfort station with flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities.
